Morris W. Stemp, Chief Executive Officer
CPA, MBA, CPHIMS
Morris Stemp is a former audit manager and consultant with the firm of KPMG Peat Marwick. He is a nationally recognized expert in the areas of selection, evaluation and implementation of accounting systems. Morris Stemp has been successfully implementing integrated accounting, payroll, manufacturing and office productivity systems since 1982.
Having directed several hundred systems solution implementations in widely diverse businesses, Mr. Stemp is extremely skilled at recognizing patterns, understanding operational flows and integrating systems into the existing work environments. Mr. Stemp’s auditing background contributes to his ability to foresee what is required now and what will be required in the future, so that his systems solutions are complete and long-lasting.
Morris Stemp has earned the designation of Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS). Already a CPA and MBA, Mr. Stemp passed a rigorous set of eligibility requirements and a certification test developed and administered by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), demonstrating his knowledge to provide the highest level of technology expertise to healthcare organizations. He joins an elite group of fewer than 50 certified IT professionals in the New York tri-state area to earn this certification.
Morris is also the author of “The EHR Guru,” a parable about transitioning from a paper based medical practice to electronic medical records.
Morris has spoken before various groups of professionals in the medical field as well as students seeking to enter the IT profession.
Benjamin Z. Brukner, Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Ben Brukner oversees the company’s Account Management, Business Development and Admin/Finance teams and monitors the performance of all Stemp services.
Ben joined Stemp Systems in 2001 as the company’s first technical intern. As part of the executive team, he guided the company’s 10-year growth from 2 employees to over 20, along with more than a ten-fold increase in revenues.
Ben’s accomplishments include:
- Development of the first written Stemp Standards™ document, leading to a comprehensive, ever-evolving library of best practices used by our technicians.
- Successful creation and launch of our Managed Services flat fee monthly service program including proactive monitoring of our clients’ technology.
- Inauguration and implementation of the company’s Technology Assessment service. This service documents in a very detailed and unique manner all elements of a client’s technical infrastructure and provides non-technical business leaders a clear understanding, generally for the first time, of how best to use technology to enhance business operations.
- Consulting as CIO at client organizations, responsible for managing major systems implementations, including the implementation of Electronic Health Record systems.
- The automation and streamlining of internal financial processes to reduce invoice cycle time, reduce Days Sales Outstanding, and increase the timeliness and accuracy of financial reports.
Ben is an active member of Heartland Technology Groups, a national peer group of IT service industry executives.
Ben graduated Magna Cum Laude from Queens College with a BA in Computer Science. He holds industry certifications from Microsoft and Sonicwall.
Aleem Quadri, Chief Technology Officer
Aleem has over 10 years experience in systems administration, user support, technical training, and disaster recovery. Since 1993, Aleem has been an instructor in over 100 technical training courses in both India and the United States. Born in Bangalore, India, he received a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Technology from Bangalore University. Before coming to the United States, Aleem worked as a systems engineer for 2 major global organizations with headquarters in the Middle East.
Aleem joined Stemp Systems in 2003 and has been a fundamental element in the growth of the business. His technical skills and ability to mentor his staff has led our technical staff to be the best we could be. Aleem continues to further his technical knowledge as the industry progresses and encourages his staff to grow their knowledge and take technical education courses as they are available.
Aleem holds industry certifications from Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco and Sonicwall.
