“A client operates a group of mobile healthcare units which bring a doctor and exam room directly to remote campsites ‘off the grid’ of readily available internet access options. Following the implementation of eClinicalWorks Electronic Health Records at the client’s primary facility in early 2010, a solution was needed for doctors to electronically capture medical records and billing information, while disconnected from the central server. As the summer months approached, it was found that eClinicalWorks was not able to accommodate the requirements of this project. Stemp Systems was able to work with multiple vendors to craft a solution enabling the client to reach their business objectives. This project required tremendous creativity in exploring options for various scenarios during the design of the solution, and to accommodate countless last minute requirements throughout the summer season. Over 9,000 patient visits were recorded on-board three mobile units during the 8 week program, using the solution which Stemp designed, implemented and supported.” – Ben Brukner |
